Do I need to be an expert in Linux to run a VPS?

Basic Linux administration skills are needed in order to perform basic maintenance on a VPS. Control panels (DirectAdmin or CPanel) greatly help beginners find their way around the system. If you go down that path we strongly suggest you purchase a Level 1 management plan to ensure that the latest security updates are installed on your VPS.
